I think the episodes keep getting better and the last two I looked forward to had some laughs and enjoyed them. I agree Sabine looks like she is not in her comfort zone and the rally-x car is not great but other than that I think it is great. If you think back to season 3 of top gear and compare it to this, I think old top gear got better and better as time went on and you can not expect Chris and his team who have no previous BBC car show experience to just jump in and look like they have been doing this for over a decade which Jeremy clarkson and crew had been. I think that it is getting better and after a few adjustments by season 25 it will be great. Keep in mind this is there first season and it will not be smooth and the same but I am growing to like it and each episode the presenters are getting better. If you look at episode one or even two they are all a bit clunky and I think we are judging them too soon. I hope the best for the new top gear. All of this is not to say that I do not like the old top gear I just think we should give the new one more of a chance.

Their challenges make no sense. It seems like they filmed too much and then had to cut 6 hours of film to make a one hour show. Remember when Hammond and may took the train or were on a cruise ship you could actually follow and enjoy it. Here Eddie’s presence was completely pointless. They showed him for 2 minutes banging spoons together! And then there was a separate race between the other 3 presenters. The show is too crowded.

And don’t forget these challenges have been done before. The new team is just remaking the old challenges and they are nowhere near as good.

I think they should take out sabine I do not find that she adds much to the show other than that the crew can say they have a girl on their show.

It’s not that she’s “worse”, she doesn’t doesn’t fit in comfortably within the confines of the show. Plus she’s a bit superfluous due to there being a Stig. Token McTokenson is a much better presenter, even though he looks like he’s presenting on CBBC.

This season of Top Gear gets better and better. I like it. Now if they could remove the guest star rally shit and instead put in the Classic old news segment it would be great. Please do that Top Gear.

I was surprised by the time 1.15 by the Vulcan was a little slow compared to previous times like Ferrari ffx 1.10 , pagani zonda r 1.08.5 or even the old Aston Martin DBR9 1.08.6. Yes I know it was damp but still way off what I thought the Vulcan would do

How was it then?

Easily their best episode yet. I enjoyed everything except for the guest segment – but in my opinion the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car segment is something which should have been removed from Top Gear a few series ago. The new Rallycross version is worse.
