Jeremy Clarkson has often been rather cynical in his approach to life, but he was beaming with positivity when spotted arriving at London’s Gatwick Airport with Richard Hammond and James May on Sunday afternoon. The trio were returning to the UK after filming for their new Amazon Prime show on the Game of Thrones set in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Clarkson, Hammond and May were dressed casually and appeared to be travelling lightly, but looked to all be in high spirits, suggesting their recent trip was a resounding success. Just a few days prior, Jeremy Clarkson took to Twitter, saying “The crews were laughing so hard today, I don’t think we have one steady shot. I laughed so hard, I may have broken my spleen.”
This sits in stark contrast to Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc from Top Gear, who appear to be having a much rougher time. Most recently they were in hot water after Matt LeBlanc and Ken Block performed burnouts in front of Britain’s most famous war memorial.
