Images of the upcoming Grand Cherokee Trailhawk have been leaked before Jeep had a chance to officially unveil the vehicle. But that’s probably right around the corner, now that the cat is out of the bag.
Details on the new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk are thin, but from the look of the vehicle in the photos we can see a lot of similarities between it and the Trailhawk that was produced as a special edition for the 2013 Grand Cherokee – right down to the body graphics treatment. You can expect that it’ll be factory-fitted with more aggressive all-terrain tyres, along with all the best off-road goodies Jeep can throw at it.
The same red used on the front tow hooks looks to have been brought through into the cabin, in the form of contrasting interior stitching, and the Trailhawk will most likely feature additional underbody protection.
We’ll have to wait for the proper unveiling of the vehicle before we know what else the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk has, but we doubt there will be a supercharged V8 under the bonnet. For that, you’ll have to wait for the Hellcat-powered Trackhawk that has been spotted testing in heavily camouflaged form.
