Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May’s new motoring show The Grand Tour is due to kick off in just over a week’s time on Amazon Prime – but how exactly are you going to be able to watch it? Well, luckily for you we’ve created a handy guide below containing everything you need to know.
Firstly, you’re going to need to sign up for Amazon Prime – and depending on what country you live in, this will either be a walk in the park or a rather more complicated proposition.
Countries where Amazon Prime is available:

If your country is on the list – congratulations! You can sign up for Amazon Prime and be ready for The Grand Tour when it begins on November 18th.
But unfortunately for the rest of you, Amazon Prime currently isn’t available in your country 🙁
Amazon Prime isn’t available in my country! What can I do??
If Amazon Prime hasn’t been launched in your country yet, there isn’t really any legal way for you to watch The Grand Tour when it begins on November 18th. You might have noticed we said legal. That’s because there is still a sort of semi-legal option available to you.
What you’ll need to do first is sign up for Virtual Private Network (VPN) service, such as PureVPN, which essentially re-routes your internet connection to make it appear as though you’re located in a country other than your own – like the USA for example.
Once you’ve got your connection running through a VPN (most VPN services provide handy set-up guides to help you achieve this), all you’d need to do next is sign up for Amazon Prime in that country – using your own credit card details and an actual street address located within that same country.
People have been using the above process to get around Netflix region blocking for years, and the same thing will work for Amazon Prime. More importantly, we’ve personally tried the above method and confirmed that you CAN sign up for the American version of Amazon Prime, even if you don’t actually live in the USA.
It is also important to consider that the while the method listed above isn’t exactly legal, in the end you are still paying Amazon for access to the service – and that’s got to be better than downloading the show illegally for free, right? Support the service that supports The Grand Tour.
Great! I’ve signed up for Prime – what are my viewing options?
Now that you’ve got an Amazon Prime account, your next point of call will be working out your best method of viewing The Grand Tour.
If Amazon Prime is available in your country, you can go ahead and order a brand new Amazon Fire TV Stick, which will allow you to access Amazon Prime via your TV. Alternatively, those with Smart TV’s should check if they have the Amazon Prime app pre-installed, or ascertain whether it can be downloaded.
Amazon Prime can also be downloaded and installed on gaming consoles such as the Sony Playstation 3 & 4, along with Microsoft’s Xbox One.
For those who signed up to Amazon Prime via a VPN service, it will be more difficult to gain access to the Amazon Prime app on the devices listed above (although not impossible), and your best bet for viewing The Grand Tour will be to simply do so directly via your computer’s web browser.
