Sean from TopGearbox here with an exclusive preview of The Grand Tour Series 3’s ninth episode – titled ‘Aston, Astronauts and Angelina’s children’.
In a varied episode, Richard Hammond is at the Eboladrome to drive the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage and find out if the tiny British company has made a sports car that can match the mighty Porsche 911 at last.
James May is in a historical frame of mind as he looks back at the cars driven by the astronauts of the ground-breaking Apollo moon missions and takes a spine-tingling ride in Neil Armstrong’s actual Corvette.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Clarkson embarks on an elaborate and extremely thorough test of the Citroen C3 Aircross as he attempts to demonstrate to his sceptical colleagues that it is spacious, versatile and better than an elephant.
The ninth episode of The Grand Tour Series 3 will stream on Amazon Prime Video on March 8th 2019, so if you haven’t got an active Prime Video account yet make sure you sign up here. I’m guessing the next special will be the last episode? Any ideas
Small problem in article.New Vantage loses its V8 plate. For the first time in AM history, theres an AM Vantage(without any add ons)
After this episode. We still have Countach QV(same one from Cars of the People)917-tribute Brose—Stratos+new Delta HF and Ford saloon tribute to see in about 4 episode?
Of course I love that Pantera. As the longest running mid engine supercar,it’s not very well known in China here
Another reminder of what we’ll miss out on future series, The boys doing their own segments. I imagine the C3 Aircross will be similar to Clarkson’s reviews of the Fiesta in S12E6, Twingo in S14E4, Yeti in S16E1 and C’eed in S19E4. It’ll be interesting to see Hammond’s review of the Vantage. I personally love that car!!!! Bet Andy Chen is excited to see the DeTomaso and the old Corvette.
Vette and Pantera are both great content.Looking forward to it
