Despite touting all-wheel drive across its entire model range, Lamborghini is reportedly looking to introduce a new rear-wheel-drive version of their Huracán supercar. The move does make quite a lot of sense, as Lamborghini did offer a rear-drive version of the Gallardo – the Huracan’s predecessor.
If history is anything to go by, the RWD Huracan will most likely be a limited-production, lighter, more hardcore version of the already-amazing Huracan coupe. The two-wheel-drive Gallardo was limited to just 250 units worldwide, and the same could be in store for this Huracan. Lamborghini technically makes a rear-wheel-drive version of the Huracán already, in the form of the LP 620-2 Super Trofeo racecar.
