A photo showing the front end of the new Aston Martin DB11 coupe has been leaked online, giving us a clear look at the successor to the legendary DB9. The photograph was posted on Twitter by user RudyBenjamin13, and comments posted by that user seem to suggest that the photo was taken at a customer event. He also declared that he doesn’t care if he’s bumped down or potentially off the waiting list for the car.
From what we can see here, the DB11 has a much more traditional front fascia, when compared to the DB10’s concept-car styling. It also has bigger, road-legal headlights and a more traditional Aston grille bookend a beautifuly sculpted hood. Where the DB10 was more shark-nosed and aggressive, the DB11 looks traditional and will fit into the Aston Martin range nicely.
While technical specifications have not been released yet, the DB11 will most likely feature Aston Martin’s new 5.2L twin-turbo V12 engine, although it may also be offered with a version of Mercedes-AMG’s 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, though you can hardly call that downsizing.
The DB11 has been spotted testing in many locations around the world, with the unveiling will likely take place at the Geneva.
