Clarkson: “The BBC have fucked themselves”

An emotional Jeremy Clarkson has been filmed at a charity event launching a tirade against BBC bosses, labelling them “fucking bastards” for suspending him from Top Gear.

Clarkson hinted that he expected to be sacked as a result of the internal investigation into an alleged fracas with one of Top Gear’s producers, Oisin Tymon. The report from the investigation will be made public next week.

“The BBC have fucked themselves,” Clarkson told a charity auction in north London on Thursday.

“It was a great show and they fucked it up.”

Clarkson auctioned a lap around the Top Gear track for £100,000 at the charity event at the Roundhouse in Camden.

“I didn’t foresee my sacking but I would like to do one last lap. So I’ll go down to Surrey and I’ll do one last lap of that track before the fucking bastards sack me.”

He added: “I’ll be a bit tearful when I do it, but fuck it, let’s do it.”

At the event to raise money for young people to take part in the arts, Clarkson was persuaded to offer up a lap around the Top Gear track by the charity auction organiser Christopher Biggins.

Clarkson said: “I’ll drive somebody around in whatever I can get hold of. I’m sacked so it’s probably an Austin Maestro. So who knows? But anyway it will be my last ever lap of the Top Gear track.”

He added: “There was an 18-year waiting list to be in the audience of Top Gear, but the BBC has fucked themselves. It was a great show and they’ve fucked it up. Tonight’s the night when you have the opportunity.” Clarkson’s Top Gear lap went on to raise the most money at the event.

The BBC released a statement   on Thursday that the investigation into the incident involving Clarkson and Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon, which happened two weeks ago, had been completed. Although the verdict of the report is not yet known, Clarkson made several references to being sacked from the BBC2 show during his address to the crowd.

The final three episodes of the current Top Gear series were pulled following Clarkson’s suspension. Clarkson’s contract, and those of his fellow Top Gear presenters, Richard Hammond and James May, expire at the end of this month.

Clarkson ‘tried to apologise’ to Oisin Tymon

Jeremy Clarkson has reportedly made repeated attempts to apologise to Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon over an alleged “fracas”.

It is believed Clarkson has been to Mr Tymon’s home and emailed him.

“In the hours before he reported the matter to the BBC, Clarkson seemed increasingly desperate to apologise to Tymon and persuade him to let the matter blow over,” a source told The Mirror.

“He tried for up to five minutes but in the end had to walk away.”

On Thursday night Clarkson was seen enjoying a night with celebrity friends at The Roundhouse Gala in Camden, north London.

Hammond and May refused to film without Clarkson

Top Gear could have continued while Jeremy Clarkson was suspended – but James May and Richard Hammond refused to do the show without him.

A BBC executive revealed discussions were held about putting out the final few episodes with mainly recorded segments and the two co-stars filming the studio parts.

But the source said: “They didn’t want to do it without Jeremy so the talks didn’t get off the ground.

“There is a feeling that it is all of them or none of them.”

If you were in a normal company, a normal team sure go ahead and report your boss for punching you.

THIS IS SHOWBIZ THOUGH.

JUST CUS YOU WANTED JUSTICE YOU DEPRIVED THE ENTIRE WORLD OF TOP GEAR.

FUCKING TWAT.

You could have just walked away from the job with a huge compensation check.

Oisin never reported the incident – it was Jeremy Clarkson who reported himself after having some time to think about what he did.

Please tell me you don’t believe that propaganda bs that the bbc made up to protect Oisin.Oisin, and in fact other members of the Top Gear team pressured Clarkson to not ‘report himself’ it was more of an ‘owning up’ and was reported as ‘taking responsibility for’ the fracas incident which means that in some way or form Clarkson was pressured into making a public statement like that which allowed the bbc to sack him. It also tells us that the BBC upper echelons already knew about this incident even before it went public.
The simple fact that Clarkson went to beg for forgiveness before he made his statement shows that Oisin was going to do something that Clarkson desperately didn’t want to happen.
As further evidence, the fact that we can see anger and hurt expressed by Clarkson in later appearances, e.g. the charity event where he declared that ‘the bbc have fucked themselves’ you can clearly see that he didn’t report himself ‘after having some time to think about it’. He was pushed (rightfully so arguably) into declaring the incident to the public, which consequently pushed the bbc into a position which they could only do one thing. Fire him, because law and morals must be upheld to retain societies trust in the media.
Your comment just makes no logical sense in light of the facts of the matter and are not supported by any substantiated evidence.

I think Jeremy reported himself because it was only a matter of time before it would have been leaked to the press anyway – best to tackle the issue head on. Even Jeremy Clarkson himself went on record by saying “All I would like to say is I wish people would leave Ois alone, because none of this is his fault.”

Oisin was punched in the face whilst working on a job that he enjoyed more than anything else in the world, and in the months which have followed not once has he spoken to the media, published a book or otherwise tried in any way to profit from what happened. Regardless of which of us is right, Jeremy punched a colleague in the face and that’s never okay.

At least now the boys have a bigger budget and more creative freedom – perhaps this whole thing was a blessing in disguise?

Jeremy Clarkson is to be sacked as Top Gear presenter after a BBC investigation concluded he did attack a producer on the programme.

Lord Hall, the Director General of the BBC, is expected to announce his decision on Wednesday after considering the findings of an internal investigation.

Clarkson, 54, will be thanked for his work on the hugely popular motoring show, but will be told such behaviour cannot be tolerated at the Corporation.

It is understood a report into the so-called ‘fracas’ at a North Yorkshire hotel, concluded that presenter spent 20 minutes verbally abusing producer Oisin Tymon, before launching a 30 second physical assault on him.

The outburst came after Clarkson, who is one of the BBC’s best paid stars, was informed he could not have steak and chips after a day’s filming because the hotel where they were staying had stop serving hot food.

But despite finally deciding to axe the show’s star presenter, the BBC is planning to continue broadcasting Top Gear on BBC2.

According to well-placed sources, senior executives at the Corporation have been wooing Radio 2 Breakfast Show host and self- confessed ‘petrol-head’, Chris Evans in the hope he will agree to take over.

Radio 2 star Chris Evans is tipped to take over

Evans, 48, who has one of the most prestigious car collections in Britain, including a £12 million 1963 Ferrari 250GTO, had previously ruled himself out of the running, but bosses are keen to persuade him to sign up.

It is not clear whether Clarkson’s co presenters James May and Richard Hammond will remain with the programme or will join Clarkson on any new ventures.

It is thought Clarkson may sign for American network Netflix, which is becoming increasingly popular with global TV audiences.

Despite feeling he has been left with no alternative but to sack Clarkson, Lord Hall is expected to thank him for helping to build Top Gear into one of the Corporation’s crown jewels and praise him as a “brilliant broadcaster”.

This doesn’t sound good, but we should stress that the BBC haven’t made an official announcement yet. The media often sensationalise stories in order to increase newspaper sales and website readership levels, so The Telegraph could be talking out of their arses here.

James May’s Twitter account state’s “former tv producer”. Hope they will be loyal to each other and move to another network together.

Even tho Jeremy had tensions building up on the day of the apparent fracas, there was no need for him to proceed with what he did because it has tainted the image of him, and the worrying thing is because most people from the age of 8 Up look up to him as a television icon and a friend, like Hammond, May and the STIG. Sadly as Jeremy mentioned at the charity event last week the BBC F*@k up, They could have kept it discreet and enclosed but it had to become part of public knowledge, and like the MH370 and MH17 disasters the news corps couldn’t leave them for spare privacy or relaxation and now I believe this may be the start of the shows decline because of the Fracas.

Now i am not wishing for that to happen, I believe that forgiveness can be accepted, besides Jeremy had tensions of the days filming and other implications built up, and he has accepted responsibility of his actions, also before the BBC F*@ked it up he tried multiple times to apologize for his actions to Owen. In my mind I do have forgiveness for Jeremy, and having that all three have played it mainly sensible, so lets put back what has negatively affected the show for the past two to three weeks and focus on a more community orientated attitude towards top gear, 90 % of the comments on the show just are for pure entertainment and a general few of the public should toughen up and accept the fun, fast and mainly factual entertainment show top gear has become for the best of us. Hope a commercial party will buy the whole Top Gear Concept, including brand-name, presenters, editing crew and format, This way the BBC will get some money to develop something new and the rest of the world can keep watching top gear

I am affraid that Danny Cohen does not wan’t to sell top gear, Put some politically correct presenters in their place and make it a boring program.

It is hard for some left-wing political correct bigwigs to see someone controversial, outspoken and with a completely different political moral be extremely popular, Basically they are jealous.

Offcourse he should not have hit a producer, But mr Tymon will be fine.

It is the fact that they are probably going to say this was the straw that broke the camel, But too be honest, All things he did before were just words, Jokes about stereotype’s, Which can actually be quite funny. It is not that he would joke about one ethnic group all the Time, He offends everyone equally, including himself and his mate’s. I do not thing anything he have said or done did cross the line in the past.

That some people are offended by him is their problem, In the west we should have Freedom of speech. Which automatically results in the fact that people will disagree and say things you could get offended about. But normal human beings get used to this and are not so easily offended by this.

Also the BBC is playing judge. If mr. Tymon can not live with the fact that he got hit, He should go to court, and independent judges could give him a fine or community service. Sack someone for one incident is completely over the top.

Too add to above, It is a complete disgrace that the person who did compare Clarkson to a pedophile is protected by the BBC, If you are brave enough to compare someone you don’t like to a pedophile, be brave enough to get out of anonymity.

BBC is having double standards.

If Clarkson punched the guy, the guy probably deserved it. The only other person he hit was Pierce Morgan.

Piers Morgan always deserves it – Actually, there should be a game show involving hitting him repeatedly.
